- The Lifeline Formula Car Quick Release Steering Boss is pre-drilled with 3 holes on a 50.8mm (2") PCD (Approx 44mm centres of adjacent holes) & is a direct fit for many pre-drilled single seater / sports car steering wheels.
- The Lifeline range of quick release steering bosses are CNC manufactured using aircraft quality aluminium that is hard anodised for strength & durability. The bosses designed for motorsport are anodised gold in line with FIA requirements.
- Both male & female splines are precision gear cut to ensure an accurate fit with zero backlash while a master spline allows the wheel to be fitted in the same position every time. The male weld in spigot is made from 20mm diameter EN 3B steel with a 6mm pilot hole through the centre.
- Lifeline quick release bosses are also available with a pre-wired 8 way electrical connector for use with steering wheel mounted instruments or switch gear.
